IBM and The Feminist Press Create Social Network for Women in Science

IBM and The Feminist Press have created a social network, Under the Microscope, for women in science. A post on the newly formed site described its mission:

Women Writing Science seeks to celebrate the achievements of women while frankly discussing the challenges they face by publishing a series of books about women in science and providing a social networking site for students, working scientists, teachers, counselors, and parents. The site will encourage young women to take an interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) by interacting with peers, mentors, and professionals scientists. The site will also provide special features and information about useful resources, including other science-related projects.
