Social Network Red Karaoke Breaks Out The Tunes For National Coming Out Day

Red Karaoke, a Karaoke social network with over 18,000 songs online, is inviting users to have some fun on National Coming Out Day (October 11) by singing some songs they’ve uploaded for the occasion and participating in a new forum dedicated to coming out stories.

Red Karaoke, which is the largest singing social network, is targeted toward -you guessed it- people who want to sing along to their favorite tunes and upload videos/photos and tell their friends all about it.

On its blog, the company posted:

National Coming Out Day is a time to publicly display gay pride. Many choose this day to come out to their parents, friends, co-workers and themselves. Today, the gay population is represented by a wide range of backgrounds, beliefs and personalities. However, for many accepting their homosexuality and sharing it with others is not an easy process. Thus, we have created a forum discussion for you to openly share your story at your convenience, receive support and empathize with others in the same situation.

The forum including new section devoted to National Coming Out Day and coming out stories / encouragement can be found here: http://www.redkaraoke.com/forum/
