A social network devoted to menstral cycles -Seriously
There is a social network for just about everything these days including, apparently, menstrual cycles. Sporting what has to be the ugliest interface ever designed, MyMonthlyCycles covers everything related to a woman’s cycle including topics such as trying to conceive (TTC in Internet lingo), period calendars and reminders for those who want their computers to alert them when that time of the month is imminent.
Today, MyMonthlyCycles announced that it has added a wishing well to its site, so that members can shout cute messages to each other. Although I personally found the site hard to navigate, members apparently like it and hundreds of messages have been posted in the two weeks since it went on line.
One thing working in the social network’s favor is that it doesn’t require a log in so users can post quick messages without a lengthy registration process. This is something I wish more websites would offer.
